CNC milling

CNC machines are used for machining. These are five-axis milling machines that are automated and computer-controlled. First, a digital design of the desired product is created. Then the file is uploaded into the computer and the selected block of material is placed into the machine. This now forms the part by milling, removing the material that is not needed to produce the desired lens.
