Packaging is found in the most diverse areas of everyday life. There are various types of packaging that fulfill different functions. Many products, especially food, cannot be stored, distributed or sold without packaging. Packaging forms a logistical unit from one or more product units and thus supports logistics and trade. In this context, packaging fulfills protective, storage and sales functions.

The packaging performs a sales function through its geometric or color design by means of images and inscriptions. This function is particularly important for the buyer, as it enables him to recognize the product by its logo, name, shape or color, with which the sales packaging often conveys the first and decisive impression.

LES GRAVEURS therefore offers various services for the visual design of packaging, especially of paper, but also of other materials.

 

Paper, cardboard and paperboard are among the most commonly used packaging materials. These are very inexpensive materials that are also very easy to machine. LES GRAVEURS therefore offers blind embossing tools made of brass for the packaging industry, which can be used for embossing packaging. By means of blind embossing, patterns, motifs or lettering can thus be pressed into paper or cardboard completely without the use of ink.

Our services include, on the one hand, the production of blind embossing stamps, which are made with our modern CNC machines, which allows them to be processed with particular precision and also enables serial production.

In addition to the production of embossing tools, LES GRAVEURS also offers the embossing of the papers and cardboards itself - blind embossing. In blind embossing, a pattern is stamped into the packaging material of the promotional item, which is done without the use of ink. This is done by the mechanical action on the material, which visually emphasizes the blind embossing.
