The manufacture of a product is a multi-stage process. The largest amount of work is in the steps before the actual production of the final product. The basis for the production of new products is the contact and communication between our employees and our customers, otherwise no smooth order processing can take place.

Together we discuss your individual wishes and specifications. This is followed by prototyping, which is the center of pre-processing and has an impact on the further course of the process.

Due to the importance of these first process steps, the design and development of new workpieces is one of our core competences.

A prototype represents a first model of a planned product and often corresponds to the technical characteristics of the later end product. Prototypes often serve as preparation for a serial production, but can also be planned as a single piece, which should only represent a certain concept. On the one hand, a prototype is used to test the suitability of the product. On the other hand, the production of a prototype can be used to work on the design, so that the model initially only externally corresponds to the final product.

The term prototyping refers to various modern methods of prototype production. LES GRAVEURS specializes, among other things, in the rapid prototyping process. This is a manufacturing process that aims to convert existing CAD data quickly and directly into the desired workpiece without manual detours.

 

By using prototyping processes in product manufacturing, there are two important advantages:
